Senior
Job Description
As a Senior Digital Strategist at MO Agency, you’ll take the lead in crafting and executing complex digital strategies that span paid media, content marketing, CRM automation, and web experiences. You’ll work with mid-to-enterprise level clients across South Africa, the UK, and the Middle East—owning campaign direction, nurturing high-value relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver real, measurable results.
You’ll also support our Digital Marketers and Strategists with mentorship, reviews, and campaign performance coaching. If you love solving marketing puzzles, finding growth opportunities, and turning complex problems into clear, strategic plans—this is the role for you.
Responsibilities & duties
- Own and lead strategy development across major client accounts
- Build, present, and refine multi-channel digital strategies that tie to business objectives
- Oversee and direct paid media strategies across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic platforms
- Shape content marketing and CRM workflows across HubSpot, guiding the buyer journey from awareness through conversion
- Audit digital campaigns and identify gaps or opportunities in funnels, targeting, and messaging
- Collaborate with Digital Marketers, Strategists, Account Managers, Developers, and Designers to align delivery with vision
- Present strategy documents, campaign reports, and performance insights to C-level stakeholders
- Provide strategic input on large proposals, retainers, and digital campaigns
- Mentor junior strategists and marketers, review work, and support training
- Stay current on performance trends, marketing automation tools, and CRM integrations
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years experience in digital marketing, with 2+ years in a strategic or leadership role
- Strong experience managing cross-channel campaigns (search, social, email, content, web)
- Expertise in HubSpot or similar platforms (Pardot, Salesforce, Marketo, etc), including workflows, lead scoring, lifecycle stages, sales CRM strategies and pipelines)
- Comfortable owning strategy from high-level vision to tactical execution
- Skilled in analytics, reporting, and measurement (GA4, Looker Studio, HubSpot, attribution models)
- Proven experience presenting strategy and results to senior stakeholders and clients
- Strong commercial awareness: able to connect marketing performance to business impact
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Bonus: Experience in B2B/tech sectors, advanced certifications in HubSpot, Google Ads, Meta
