Job Description

We’re looking for a Paid Media Specialist to lead Paid Media at MO Agency. If you’re obsessed with ROAS, live for performance dashboards, and can deliver results on Google and Meta with a monthly revenue of R1.5 million, we want to meet you. This is a highly performance-focused role for someone who can take ownership of large paid media campaigns across multiple platforms and drive measurable business results.

This role sits at the intersection of campaign management, strategic input, and conversion tracking. You’ll collaborate with our strategists, content creators, and CRM specialists to build and scale paid media campaigns that deliver qualified leads and sales.

Responsibilities & duties

  • Plan, execute, and optimise paid media campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) and Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram).

  • Comfortable managing monthly ad budgets ranging from R100,000 to R1.5 million with strict performance KPIs.

  • Conduct in-depth audience targeting, keyword research, competitor analysis, and A/B testing.

  • Implement, audit, and optimise conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager and platform-specific tags.

  • Report on campaign performance using Data Studio, Google Analytics, and native platform reporting tools.

  • Work alongside digital strategists to align campaign objectives with client business goals.

  • Stay on top of paid media trends and algorithm changes, and proactively apply best practices.

  • Optional but advantageous: Launch and manage LinkedIn Ads for B2B campaigns.


Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years’ experience managing large-scale paid media campaigns in a performance marketing or agency environment.

  • Proven success managing six to seven-figure budgets in ZAR per month.

  • Expert-level experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.

  • Proficient in Google Tag Manager, GA4, conversion events, and UTM tracking.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and project ownership.

  • Experience with reporting tools (Data Studio, Supermetrics, etc.) is a bonus.

  • Google Ads and Meta Blueprint certifications are highly desirable.
