How long does a HubSpot–NetSuite integration take?

It depends on the complexity. A straightforward native integration can be up and running in around two weeks. If we’re adding custom development on top — for example, syncing sales orders and invoices in very specific ways — the project can run closer to eight weeks.

Do I really need a custom integration, or is the native one enough?

In many cases the native HubSpot–NetSuite integration is sufficient, especially if you only need core objects (contacts, companies, deals) synced. We typically recommend customisation when financial data (like orders and invoices) needs to surface in HubSpot, or when workflows cross both systems.

What data can be synced between HubSpot and NetSuite?

The most common data flows are contacts, companies, and deals into NetSuite, and sales orders and invoices back into HubSpot. Beyond that, we can also connect support cases, tasks, opportunities, and product-related data such as inventory items, assembly items, kit items, and non-inventory resale items.

Be aware, HubSpot’s product object is still developing. While we can sync product data, there may be some limitations on how items display and behave in HubSpot compared to NetSuite. We’ll guide you through what’s possible today, and how to plan for future improvements as HubSpot expands its product functionality.

Will this integration affect my existing NetSuite setup?

No. The integration sits alongside your current NetSuite processes. It doesn’t overwrite or disrupt your ERP configuration. What we do is map HubSpot data carefully into the right NetSuite fields to keep both systems clean.

Can I control what data is shared between the two systems?

Yes. Part of the integration process is setting rules for which objects, fields, and records sync. Some clients only want revenue-related objects connected; others prefer a full sync. We tailor it to your needs.
